Understanding How Money Works
Money is something a lot of us feel uncomfortable discussing, but I swear to you there will be no inoculations or tooth pulling today. Before I start, just a brief recap ? We’ve already discussed the importance of associating with people who are successful. You should spend less time with those who try to bring you down when an upwards trajectory is what you are pursuing.
Now let me explain that I’m not telling you to ditch your friends and family. However, it has to be noted that there is a correlation between the people you spend time around and your income. Think about your social circle and how they relate to money. Are they happy with their lives and financially independent, or are they always worried and broke?
You have to become more aware of how money works and to spend more of your time with people who have money and have it coming in consistently. When you associate with those who already have achieved your goals, you can learn from them. After all, if they have achieved financial freedom, they have to be doing something right.
People who have managed to get to the point where they enjoy financial freedom are aware that money is nothing more or less than another form of energy. When you think the right way about money, you will have little trouble attracting it to you. Many think that the only way to become a success is by years of hard work ? not to take anything away from work, but it’s not the whole story.
To attract money, you have to have a good relationship with it. Since money is a form of energy, all you have to do is be able to attract it to you. This energy is all around you, waiting to be tapped into.
This is the biggest thing which separates the wealthy from the poor- this understanding of how money works. This is also why you need to do something you love. This helps you to build a better relationship with money; and the better your relationship with money; the easier it will be to attract it.
If you want to become successful and financially independent, you need to feel good about what you do for a living. People who are successful are so in large part because they love what they do. You can make money doing some thing which you don’t like, of course; but this will always should you back from being as successful as you want to be. This is because you are doing something which is at odds with your real goals for your life.
You also have to keep company wit people who have money already; notice how differently they behave. You’ll never hear wealthy people say “I can’t afford it”. They are well aware that money is a form of energy and there is no such thing as not having enough; just not attracting it effectively. Your attitude (or energy alignment) determines how well you will be able to attract this energy to you. The wealthy feel good about money, while the poor worry about money.
The secret is to have a positive attitude about money. If you can build this relationship, money will come to you.
