Tips On Rubber Bathroom Flooring Tiles
Choosing the right bathroom tile design for your home should be a simple matter when you start your remodeling project but there are so many to choose from that it can become a problem. Cost is always an issue but there are many designs available and at all price ranges. Four famous tile designs include the classic harlequin pattern, natural stones, marble, and traditional tiles with splashes of patterns and colors.
For those of you that cannot picture the harlequin bathroom tile, imagine black and white squares turned on their edge to resemble a diamond shape. You will usually find these tiles are oblong instead of the more traditional square and these days there are many other colors to choose from.
Despite the color choices it is the traditional black on white that provides the best finish and is usually the easiest to buy without having to place a special order. If you use these tiles around a clean white Victorian style bath tub on four feet with chrome fittings you can imagine how striking this looks.
Some people are not too crazy about all of that shimmer and shine because fingerprints and water marks can be real issues when using such materials on a daily basis. If you have younger children then this is something you need to think about because you will spend considerable time each day cleaning the fixings.
Alternatively, natural stone bathroom tile designs are very good at soaking up water marks and the addition of a non-smearing brushed stainless steel bath will add to the overall effect. Marble has always been a more expensive bathroom tile design option but has a timeless quality which the more modern tiles will never match.
While tiles are intrinsically expensive there are ways to ensure you have a unique design that wont cost a fortune. What makes this idea work is that you can insert more expensive, good quality tiles into your bathroom design that will complement and enhance it without breaking the bank.
While tiling isn’t overly complicated, it is still an art which you would do well to remember and organize a tradesman to come in to do it for you. Of course you will save a great deal of money if you carry out the tiling yourself.
