Gatwick Airport is London’s second biggest airport after Heathrow. It is also the second busiest airport in the state, since Heathrow is number one. It also has the world’s single-busiest runway global airport. Situated north of central Crawley, the airport is managed and owned by BAA which also runs Heathrow. It manages thirty five million travellers, and is more than fifty years old.
